The M.W. Technologies HG 2000 cracker-biscuit stack height guage is an at-line instrument that automatically measures the height of stacked product. The instrument is simple to use, accurate and very repeatable.
The bench top instrument is provided with a platform and side guides to hold a stack of cookies or crackers for measurement. The design of the side guides is made to handle a variety of product without adjustment or changeparts. The operator pushes the "operate" button and the motorized sensing head descends until it contacts the top of the cookie/cracker stack. The stack height is then shown on the unit's digital display. The value can also be transmitted by the optional RS 232 port to the plant's operating system. Controls are provided to redily zero and calibrate at the instrument heights.
